Visionary or earthy – what resonates with you?
<!–
Dear <<First Name>>,
I hope you are well and have made it through the winter well-nourished.
For me it was a wonderfully inward-turned time – meditating, reflecting, burning incense. I am grateful that I get to live this way. And now, with the first breath of spring, this inner space is expanding – and with it the joy of sharing myself with the world again.
In recent years my artistic style has shifted: the colours on my palette have become earthier, darker and more reduced. Recently I reconnected with my more original style: the astral world, the colours of the sky and a visionary space lifted away from the earth.
Something entirely new is taking shape on my easel right now – and painting is bringing me more joy than it has in a long time. I will share it when the time comes.
Today I would like to show you two works from these two different phases. And I would be very interested to hear: which style speaks to you more?
The stones hum deep within the earth. The whale glides through the water like a living prayer. The fungi weave their silent networks beneath our feet. The stars pulse with sounds made of light.
Every life form, every ancient civilisation that ever rose and returned to the light carries its own soul song within it. And yet, within the diversity of tones, everything is held by a one great harmony.
We are consciousness that has dreamed itself into many forms – each form a unique expression.
The embryo knows this before it knows anything else. Before language, before separation, before forgetting – there is only this original state: pure being, still rooted in the heart of creation by an umbilical cord that was never truly cut.
This painting is a reminder of what has always been and will always be – one consciousness, in many forms.
Beneath the fruits of the cacao tree, a space of remembrance opens. In the golden gaze of woman and panther, the memory of original wildness reveals itself – the untamed force within us. Buried perhaps temporarily beneath layers of adaptation and expectation, but never truly lost.
Both are expressions of the same essence – alert and deeply connected. The woman’s gaze is clear and calm, as though she has found herself beyond all roles.
Revered by indigenous cultures as a messenger between worlds, the panther moves through the dark with quiet certainty – not because the path is clear, but because it is deeply attuned to itself.
This painting honours our primordial power – our instinctive nature, that stands truthfully in itself, without adapting or denying. And for that very reason, it can truly shine from the heart.
These two works carry very different energies – and yet they arose from the same source. I am curious which one speaks to you more.
An original painting carries something that exists only once – the energy of countless brushstrokes, laid with tender care, layer upon layer. What flowed through my hands onto the canvas in that one moment can never be repeated, not even by me. It remains within the painting itself and radiates from it, timelessly.
While I write this, I am sitting in my studio surrounded by the smell of paint and the quiet joy of a painting in progress. My brushes are waiting – and so am I, with excitement, to share what is emerging with you when the time comes.

By the way, I have recently renewed quite a few things on my website – new offerings have been added, and some things have found a clearer form. I’m happy if you come by.
